$50.00 – $235.00The Get Out & Play Alpine Ski and Snowboard program offers kids in 1st – 5th grades an opportunity to learn or continue developing skiing or snowboarding skills with friends and peers. Through unique partnerships with local resorts, the program features instruction by talented ski professionals, ensuring a fun and supportive learning environment. This program is geared towards Homeschool, Wasatch Learning Academy, and Thriving Day Academy students.
Program Details:
- Dates: Thursdays, January 9, 16, 23, 30, and February 6
- Time: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm (Class runs from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm)
- Transportation: Bus transportation is provided to and from the Canyons side of Park City Mountain Resort. Pick-up and drop-off occur at Southfield Park in Heber, near the pickleball courts and skate park.
- Venue: Canyons Village at Park City Mountain Resort
- Program Fee:
- $210 with a season pass
- $235 without a season pass
- $50 scholarship (for students on free and reduced lunch)
- $150 sibling
- The fee includes lift tickets (for participants without a season pass), instruction, and transportation.
Scholarships Available:
- Regular Scholarships are available for families who qualify for free and reduced lunch or with annual incomes below $50,000. Select a Scholarship ticket during registration.
- Partial Scholarships are available for families with incomes between $50,000 and $120,000. Apply using this link.

Skill Levels: Lessons are designed for beginner to intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Advanced skiers/snowboarders may prefer the UOP or Woodward programs.

Parent Support and Volunteer Opportunities: This program relies on parent volunteers! We need help to keep the program affordable, and volunteering is a great way to participate.
- School Coordinator Volunteers receive a discount on one child’s registration.
- Chaperones earn a half-day ski pass for each day they volunteer.
