GOAP Cross Country (Winter 2026) Mountain View/Edison/Parkview – sponsored by Kodiak
Cross country skiing is a great way to build fitness and enjoy being outdoors with friends, and the GO&P – Cross Country Skiing program is specifically designed to build ski skills and confidence in a fun environment! The sessions are intended for students who want to learn the fundamentals of cross country skiing through games, drills, and skiing with peers.
Grades: 1-5th Glendale elementary cluster: Mountain View, Edison, Parkview
Dates: February 6, 13, 20, 27
Time: 2:30-4 PM (leave school at 1:45)
Venue: Solitude
Equipment: Skiing equipment is provided. Please bring warm pants, coat, waterproof gloves, ski pants, etc…
Waiver information: Please use the link provided below to access and sign Solitude’s waiver, which is embedded in the registration ticket.  This MUST be done in order to participate: Solitude WAIVER
Transportation is provided for this program for students at Mountain View, Edison, Parkview. Pickup and drop-off included.
Cost : $120/$50 scholarship
Scholarships:Â
- Regular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.
- Partial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50,000 and $120,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.
- Equipment rental is included
We do need a parent chaperone each week to help out on the trails with the classes. Chaperone’s student gets to participate in the program for free. Please CLICK HERE to volunteer and choose a chaperone ticket below!

- We will ski regardless of the weather, so no refunds will be given for bad weather, or once the program begins.
