GO&P- Skiing at Solitude- Winter 2027 Wallace Stegner- Kearns
This Skiing program in partnership with Ski Utah at Solitude Resort gives youth the opportunity to begin or continue to learn and develop skiing skills alongside their peers. This is for students who attend the Kearns campus of Wallace Stegner.
Grades: 3-6th
Dates: Tuesdays Jan 5, 12, 19, 26
Time: 1:30-3:30 on snow (pick up will be around 12:30 during school hours. Students who want to participate must have good attendance, behavior, and current on their grades per school administration direction.)
Venue: Solitude
Transportation is provided for this program for students attending Wallace Stegner- Kearns campus (4590 South 5600 West, West Valley, UT. 84120)

Scholarships: Deadline is November 18
- Regular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50,000 annually on free/reduced lunch. Please select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child. You do not need to apply for a scholarship. This ticket is a reduced price from the standard ticket and includes equipment.
- Partial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50,000 and $120,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.
Chaperones:
We do need 2 parent chaperones each week to help with our program. You must be willing to attend all 4 weeks of the program, have a background check and complete our volunteer agreement. In return, your student will participate in the program for FREE! Please choose a chaperone ticket below for your student (do not buy a ticket for an adult).
IMPORTANT NOTES
- We will ski regardless of the weather, so no refunds will be given for bad weather, or once the program begins.

Illness: Please do not send your child to the program if they are home from school due to illness, were sent home or picked up early from school because they were not feeling well, or are experiencing symptoms of illness on the day of the program. If your child arrives at the program and tells their instructor they are not feeling well or begins exhibiting symptoms of illness, they will not be able to participate that day. You will be contacted and asked to pick up your child.
