SOLD OUT- North Summit GOAP Intro to Skiing/ Snowboard (Woodward) Sponsored by Kodiak

The Get Out & Play Alpine Intro to Skiing program will give kids the opportunity to learn and progress their skiing or snowboarding skills alongside their peers. This program is for those who are brand new to skiing/snowboarding or are at a beginner/ beginner-intermediate level. This program is based on our unique partnership with Woodward.

This is a program for North Summit students 1st-4th grade. The program begins immediately after school with students gearing up with the help of their guardian and/or parent volunteers. Students will take YSA provided transportation to Woodward where they will have a two (2) hour lesson with their instructor. Once the lesson is over, students will be brought back to the school to be picked up.

Volunteers needed! The entire program is parent supported and chaperoned, so please do your best to assist! To make this program happen affordably, we need parent volunteers. A volunteer for Lead Chaperone will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Other volunteer positions include an additional bus chaperone. To volunteer, please either select the Lead Chaperone ticket or contact Jana to be a bus chaperone.

Dates: Mondays; Feb 26, Mar 4, 11, 18

Time:  Buses will arrive around 2:00pm with an aim to be at Woodward around 2:45pm and return to the school around 5:15/30pm.

Program Fee:  $180

The program fee includes transportation, lift ticket, and instruction.

Registration Deadline: Registration will close on Feb. 18, 2024.

Required Equipment/Gear: skis/snowboard and boots, helmet, googles, water-proof gloves/mittens and proper snow clothing.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• No refunds will be issued for bad weather, illness, or once the program has started.
• Equipment will be provided to those who need it thanks to our wonderful partners Kodiak and Switchback Sports. Equipment can be picked up from Switchback Sports in Park City between Feb. 22nd-24th.

SCHOLARSHIPS: 

• Regular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50,000 annually or on the free or reduced lunch program. Select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.

Sibling Discount: A sibling discount is now available thanks to Kodiak sponsoring the Get Out & Play and ACTiV8 programs. Additional information is provided in the standard ticket registration.
