ACTIV8 Wasatch Ski/Snowboard Beginner and Progression (Winter 2024) Sponsored by Kodiak

$50.00 – $180.00Learn to ski or progress skills on the slopes at Woodward. This program will help to refine the skills you have learned and introduce you to new skills. This is a program specifically for Wasatch middle schoolers (high school students are welcome but will need to be dropped off at RMMS for the bus).
The ACTiV8 Alpine Skiing/Snowboarding program gives kids the opportunity to progress skiing and snowboarding alongside their peers. The program is based on our unique partnership with Woodward.
Dates: Monday, Feb. 26, Mar. 4, 11, 18
Time:Â 1:30- 5:30pm (The bus will pick up students from Timpanogos and Rocky Mountain Middle Schools)
Program Fee:Â $180
The Program Fee includes transportation, lift tickets, and instruction.
Students will meet parent volunteers after school in a specified area where the students will get ready for class (get snow clothes and ski gear on). Students then board a bus for transport to the ski hill where they will have a 2½ hour ski or snowboard lesson with their instructor. Once the lesson is completed, students are transported back to RMMS and TMS where parents will pick them up.
Required Equipment/Gear:Â skis/snowboard and boots, helmet, googles and proper snow clothing. **Gear is available for students on scholarship tickets**
Scholarships:Â
- Regular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.
- Partial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50,000 and $120,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.
Sibling Discount: Sponsored by Kodiak - There is a $50 sibling discount. If you have more than one child participating in this program first register one with a standard ticket. Then use the coupon code to register your additional child(ren).
Volunteers needed! The entire program is parent supported and chaperoned, so please do your best to assist! To make this program happen affordably, we need parent volunteers. Volunteers for Lead Chaperone will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Additional Bus Chaperones will also be needed. IMPORTANT NOTES
- We will ski regardless of the weather, and no refunds will be available for bad weather.
